Burlington, Vermont - April 7, 2006

Ron Wanamaker decided that Burlington Telecom was a good choice for him.

"When Burlington Telecom first started sending out the flyer, I realized it was going to be a municipally owned and municipally controlled, I'm very much in support of that sort of thing," said Wanamaker, a Burlington resident and restorer of old houses.

Burlington Telecom began providing internet service last fall, but now also offers telephone, and cable TV service.

"We had to test all three of the services with the beta group. That was successfully completed. We started connecting genuine commercial regular customers on January 31st," said Tim Nulty, Director of Burlington Telecom.

A recently completed deal has now given them all the channels they advertised for their cable TV service.

"It's 23 channels at one go... and that was settled yesterday, so we expect to turn those up on Monday, and at that point we have our full channel lineup," Nulty continued.

Some customers welcomed the offerings as they were, and some wanted to wait until all the channels were available. Wanamaker decided to go with Burlington Telecom regardless.

Wanamaker commented on his new services: "We've got all three services now, broadband internet, telephone, and cable tv, which we didn't have before, for less than just our telephone bill previously."

So far, Burlington Telecom has reached its timetable and financial milestones. It now has about 200 customers and is connecting more every day.

"And so its going pretty well. We're hitting the average revenue per user is about spot on what we predicted, the demand appears to be there," said Wanamaker.

And that's good news for customers like Ron Wanamaker.

"So far, so good. I'm really satisfied with everything."
