    China warns Google of 'consequences'
    China National News
    Friday 12th March, 2010
    (IANS)

Google will have to 'bear the consequence' if it insists on violating China's laws and regulations, a senior official warned Friday.

'It is irresponsible and unfriendly if Google insists in doing something that goes against China's laws and regulations, and it will have to bear the consequence,' Xinhua quoted Li Yizhong, the minister of industry and IT, as saying.

Li was addressing journalists on the sidelines of the annual parliament session.

Google this week said it was firm on its decision to 'stop censoring our search results for China' and it was prepared to leave the country if that was the option.

The internet search giant has said it might pull out of the Chinese market, citing disagreement with government policies and attacks targeting its services in China.

US congress is the double talker in these cases

One day they are talking about free speech, the other day they censored news from the war front and tapping into the email and phone of so called terrorist suspect amongst their own people. Now that china shut out their nonsense, their foot soldiers cry like babies.
